Super Typhoon LANDO (aka Koppu) hits Philippines

Typhoon Lando with international name Koppu afer making landfall at around 1:00 am Manila Time Oct. 18, 2015  according to PAGASA.

Public storm warning signal no. 4 is still up in the province of Aurora. State weather bureau PAGASA said Lando had slightly weakened and was packing maximum sustained winds of up to 175 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gusts of up to 210 kph.
